Entry is through the on-going
process of previous years.
On-line entry forms are to be
completed, then entrants will choose
one of two payment options.
They will, after completing their
on-line entry form, choose "mail-in
fee" or proceed with charging their
entry fee on-line. Please feel free to advise any
fellow swimmers!
1.
December 4, 2006:
Hard copy entry forms
are mailed to all 2006
entrants who qualified for
the 2007 "Early Bird"
mailing.
They participated in and
met the incentive criteria
of the 2006 GCBS Charitable
Pledge Programs. While
the "Early Bird" mailing is
an incentive through
participation in the GCBS
Pledge-Charity programs, for
early entry into the 4.4
GCBS swim, early bird
entrants may also elect to
enter the 1 Mile Bay
Challenge swim.

February 27, 2007:
An on-line "1 Mile Bay
Challenge" entry
form will become live on line
at 9:00 a.m.
Potential entrants are to
complete the form on-line.
Again, there is no
qualification documentation
requirement for the 1 Mile
Bay Challenge. Entry
link will be on Lin-Mark's
home page & calendars.
Please follow the posted on-line
entry instructions.
After potential entrants complete the
on-line form and
submit it, they will
complete one of the two
the payment options.
Two Payment Options:
a. "Mail-In" Entry
Fee:
Your completed on-line
entry form data is held
"inactive" until your entry
fee check is received.
When your payment is
received, your on-line entry
form is then activated, and
your name will be placed
onto the confirmed GCBS
on-line Entrant's List.
YOU
ARE NOT IN THE EVENT UNTIL
YOUR PAYMENT IS RECEIVED.
Any bounced checks will
result in rejection from the
swim.
b. If you choose
"Charge" your
entry fee:
Just complete the
secured on-line charge form
with your charge card info.
as instructed on the form.
It will be quickly processed
by the on-line banking
vendor and your charge card
company. You will
receive an on-line
confirmation of its
successful processing.
Print out a copy of that
confirmation and keep it for
any future reference.
Upon the quick processing of
your charge payment, you
will then be placed
immediately onto the on-line
GCBS 1 Mile Bay Challenge
confirmed Entrant's List.
Please
note that your charge
statement will show the
amount billed to Lin-Mark
Computer Sports. Please
advise the person who pay's
the charge bills not to
cancel out that charge.
Make them aware what it is
related to. If your
payment is cancelled by your
charge card vendor, you
entry is cancelled, plus
retaining of the processing
fee. |
