 WINNINGTIME Transponder-Chip Computer System:

1.   Athletes wear a soft-adjustable Velcro band around their ankle.  A small computer chip is embedded in the band, and is coded to the participant's race day number and race data. 
2.  No untying shoe laces to remove a chip from shoes.
3.  Ground Receiver mats are placed at:  the start(s) & finish line area(s) -- turnaround areas --  mile markers  --  transition areas in multi-events -- including swimmer check-in.

• Participants can receive:   Real Start Time (gun time), Net Time (the actual time run from when they pass over the starting line mat), 
  Full 5-Split times is a standard in LIN-MARK's triathlon timing and posted results.  Results posted on site prior to Awards presentations, and always web posted on race day . . .
  a LIN-MARK standard.

• The WinningTime system is fully approved by all the governing body of sports -- national and international levels. 

• Our pricing is very competitive and tied into LIN-MARK's full line of computer and on-line services. 

• LIN-MARK'S  chip replacement fee is much lower to what other timing companies charge --  for timing bands not returned by participating athletes.  Plus, we help events track and request timing band's return.

All Computer Timing is by Mark Toretsky.  LIN-MARK's computers and timing system is networked  for fast and accurate data entry, including event scoring.

OPTION 2:    LIN-MARK'S TRADITIONAL Computer Timing Services --  Traditional finish line chute & pull tags:  

1. Open Chute System . . . athletes finish in a single chute system, where their times are recorded manually, race tags pulled for bar code scanning and computer scoring. LIN-MARK brings in its own timing crew which is included in base fee quote as necessary.

2. Assign all entrants into respective waves  with bib number sequence.

3. Results Roster posted prior to awards ceremony.

4. Awards Roster includes all special award divisions:
   Teams, Relays, Clydesdale, Physically Challenged, Military, Law Enforcement, etc.

5. Assist with Awards Ceremony - A LIN-MARK specialty (Mark's favorite!)

   • You can also print your own on-line Results Card.  Go to our event web Results -- You will have an option to click "Print your own Results Card."  A search page comes up where you type in your number or name. 
      

   Finish Line: (1) Large Digital Clock included in base fee Provide cones, stantions, plastic tape materials, 30 marshal safety flags, 2 electronic bull horns We provide a very good looking finish line.  Extra traffic cones, and orange volunteer safety flags available for race day logistics. Key LIN-MARK staff are linked  with portable radios Linda Toretsky to oversee placement of volunteers for split transitions at multi-events & provide all necessary equipment for split timing, finish line, volunteer placement -- as required. Portable tables, 6 water coolers, registration signage, Road Signage:  (caution runners/bikers on road) Sound Equipment includes, a smaller PA system with microphone, capable of playing taped or CD music during event.  Lin-Mark's own timing chip collection baskets placed at the finish area.

LIN-MARK Computer Sports initiated the process of posting race
PRE-ENTRY listings.  This procedure was initiated at the 1997 USA Triathlon Nationals-World Team Qualifier, Columbia, MD.

   •  What is the EZE-IN "Live" On-Line Entry System?

   •  The system is an inexpensive  "State Of The Art" on-line method of handling your on-going event entry requirements. Utilized by thousands of participants, and enthusiastically utilized by event directors for its ease of functionality, and "user" friendly process.  It is very cost effective to both the event and potential entrants.  There is NO CHARGE to the event for utilizing this on-line entry service. 

   • The LIN-MARK EZE-IN ENTRY was created because we wanted a way to cut down on the time we were spending at the computer preparing for an event as well as making on-line entry as simple and painless for the athletes and event director.  Because of our own background in working daily with event directors on the entry process of their events, we have a system which is very "user friendly" plus very EZE to custom for each event's needs.
      

   • The highlight of the system . . .  Two options for submitting entry payment on the capturing of data from:
     (1) Charge or  
     (2) Mail-in of payment options. . . of the
     on-line entry (no fee at all for this option to entrant).  

   • Additionally:  On-Line entry data is in an importable/exportable file thus saving the race director hours of manual data entry.

PRE - ENTRY ON-LINE CHARGE SERVICE:
Entrants can enter any event on-line through the LIN-MARK EZE-In Entry system, as detailed above.  They charge their fee on our secure server, receive instant confirmation, then fax or mail in their completed entry form with signed release.  Yes, its included in our basic service fee, the option is yours! 

1. Event listed on LIN-MARK Calendar.
   Event Applications distributed at all Lin-Mark upcoming events.
   NOTE:  LIN-MARK'S WEB PAGE averages hundreds of daily visitors, with well over 2 million+ visitors a year.  

2. Event Entry Form Web Posted or links provided directly to your own web site.

3. FULL EVENT RESULTS POSTED ON OUR WEB PAGE on Race Day.  View entire results roster or use our own results search program.  Just type in a finishers number or name to view race day results.  Results posted by:  Overall Field - Division Winners - Teams - Age Groups

4. Your PRE-ENTRY LIST Posted on Lin-Mark Web Page as they are received.    We are the only timing company to provide this unique service for all events.

5. PROVIDE LINKS BETWEEN YOUR WEB SITE (if available) &
   LIN-MARK Web Site
   After Your Event, give to all your media publications race results on disk in any requested format.

6. Advise on Event Design, permits, insurance, logistics.

7. Design and Prepare "camera ready" event application.  We will work with you on designing your own entry form, ready for print.

8. Assist in Obtaining Quotes on t-shirts, awards, event requirements, etc.

9. LIN-MARK can produce custom certificate of merit suitable for 1 Mile Fun Run-Walk Event

10. Mail Your Event Application to All Requests via phone or fax. Include you event in all our publication mailings to newspapers, sport publications & sport clubs.

• OPTIONAL COST ITEMS -- Cost to be quoted in formal bid process:

• Mileage for events which are not within a 100 mile area to our home base of Mantua, NJ.

• Room accommodations for events requiring over-night(s) stay.

• Please note that depending on site and requirements, LIN-MARK also has the option of utilizing it's R.V. for short term lodging, depending on the number of required staff we must bring to site.
