All participants and spectators are required to park in SCHOOL'S PARKING LOT BETWEEN 7th & 8th Streets, facing Long Beach Blvd. on race day, or the streets surrounding the school.
SIGNS WILL BE POSTED. 
Side streets on the BAY side (school)
may also be used.
School Parking Lot:
$2 parking fee, all race day, per car load.
Proceeds 100% benefit the school.

CHECK IN-PACKET PICK-UP & I.D. CHECK:

Your Packet Will Contain MANDATORY: 1.  YOUR ASSIGNED WINNING TIME -TIMING ANKLE COMPUTER CHIP/BAND.  May be worn over or under a wetsuit.  YOU MUST RETURN IT IN THE FINISHLINE.  IF YOU DO NOT FINISH YOU ARE STILL FINANCIALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE RETURN OF YOUR ASSIGNED TIMING CHIP & band. 2.  bIKE HELMET NUMBER (STICK IN FRONT OF HELMET. 3.  BIKE RACE NUMBER: FOLD OVER THE CENTER BAR OF YOUR BIKE. 4.  BIB RACING NUMBER:  PIN TO THE FRONT OF YOUR SHIRT.  MUST BE WORN FOR THE RUN!  (also photo i.d. for the event photographers!) 5.  swim cap:  color coded to your swim wave & Pre-numbered. 6.  RACE ENTRANT'S WRIST BAND:  PARTICIPANT I.D. FOR ENTRY INTO THE TRANSITION & REFRESHMENT AREAS.  MUST WEAR! 7.  BODY MARKING WILL TAKE PLACE AT PACKET PICK-UP AND IN THE BIKE TRANSITION AREA PRE RACE: Sat. & mandatory on sun. for all.

         TIMELINE - SAT. & SUN:

Sat. 9/22 -- School auditorium -- front of the school on 8th & Beach Sts. (ocean side)
            1:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
Bikes may be racked & lot secured on Sat. 
It is voluntary & not mandatory. 
Six foot high cyclone fencing around the ball field, with locked gates.  Lin-Mark will be on site overnight.

Must present photo I.D. to receive your race packet.
If a USAT member, must present your USAT member card or pay the $10 one-day USAT insurance fee.

Bikes will be inspected prior to racking on your assigned rack.  Inspections by USA Triathlon officials.

Bike transition will be locked with security & Lin-Mark on site overnight.  NO SPECTATORS PERMITTED IN BIKE TRANSITION AREA pre, during or after event.  Must show your race packet number/i.d. to remove a bike once it is racked within the fenced area -- PRIOR & AFTER THE EVENT.  We request that once the race is concluded, you remove and secure your bikes from the school grounds quickly.

Sun. 9/23 RACE DAY -- PACKET PICK UP, I.D. CHECK-IN: School auditorium -- front of the school on 8th & Beach Sts. side.
                5:00 a.m. to 6:00 a.m. 

Must present photo I.D. to pick up race packet.  If a USAT member, must present your USAT member card or pay the $10 one-day USAT insurance fee.

RACE MORNING MANDATORY PRE-RACE INSTRUCTIONS-MEETING:

To be served in the school auditorium where packet pick up was conducted, for participants only.  There are many food restaurants surrounding the race area.

Depending on the weather, awards may be conducted from the top of the school steps. To be announced race day.
 

1.  Refund, minus $25 processing fee, up to:
August 11, 2007.  Absolutely no refunds or transfers after that date.

2.  Absolutely no transferring or selling of entry slot among race entrants.  Reassignment and opening of slots is at the sole discretion of the race director.

3.  Race director has the right to cancel or change any portion of the race on event day due to weather or mitigating circumstances which may jeopardize the participants safety.
Every effort would be made to reschedule, but there are no refunds.
