Miles - Half Marathon 9:00 a.m. Start "Rain
or Shine"
The 13.1 mile course loops through rural and residential sections
of Lincroft, Holmdel, and Colts Neck, NJ. Gently rolling
farmlands and tree-lined country lanes contribute to the character
of this unsurpassed beautiful NJ course.
Note: Automobile traffic is not restricted from using
roads while race is in progress. You must run on the road's
shoulder and be careful of traffic at all times. Volunteers
& police are on the course.

Timing: |
 Event
will be timed using the Winning Time Transponder-Chip System.
Runners will wear a soft-adjustable Velcro ankle band, in which a
small computer chip is encased. All bands will be computer coded
to each runners race number & race day data for scoring
purposes. All timing bands are returned at the end of the
finish line chute.
IMPORTANT: You
will be required to pick up your Winning Time band in the gym on
race morning. Anyone
who does not finish the event or elects not to participate, must
return the band at the finish line or gym complex.
There is a
$10 lost fee due for any bands not returned, and yes, all bands
are scanned at the end of the event to confirm each entrant's
return of their assigned timing band..
Ground receiver mats will be at the start & finish line course for runners to run over
during the race. Posted
results will give your "gun" time, chip time, along with division & gender placement.

my application for entry in the E. Murray Todd Half-Marathon, I,
the undersigned, intending to legally bind myself, my heirs,
executors and administrators, hereby waive, release and hold
harmless the Monmouth County Board of Recreation Commissioners;
Monmouth County Board of chosen Freeholders; the municipalities of
Middletown, Holmdel and Colts Neck; Brookdale Community College,
and any person or entity associated with the race from any claims
for damages of any nature arising out of my participation in the
event.
I recognize that I must be in good health and of sufficient
training and experience in order to participate in the
event. I further state that my ability to participate in and
successfully compete in this event has been attested by a
qualified, licensed physician. I also give permission for
the use, without fee, of my name and picture in any broadcast,
telecast or print media account of this event or promotional and
publicity purposes. I further acknowledge that I have read
and accept these conditions under which my entry is made.
