Results North East Triathlon 2006

R E S U L T S 2006 . . . CGI Racing presents:

                                  North East Triathlon - North East, Maryland
              August 27, 2006
Olympic Distance: 1.5K swim, 40K bike, 10K run
      488 Entrants - 295 Finishers (includes quite a few "no shows due to the awful weather & DNFs"

Monsoon morning race weather! Due to early storm conditions the swim was cancelled and replaced with a 5K Run. The event started a half hour late.
Congratulations to all under tough conditions. Plus, as the day went on so did the sun and humidity during the 10K run. Took its toll on athletes. Kudos to all . . . Athletes, Many Volunteers, Race Committee and all the municipal support from North East Maryland of police and medical teams on site. Everyone "made it happen."

If you picked up your entry packet for the event, but did not participate or finish, you are still financially responsible for the return of the WinningTime chip & ankle timing band.
The loss/replacement fee is $25.

Yes, all returned bands are scanned for proper return credit of all assigned timing bands.
